HA NOI — An exchange programme featuring traditional theatrical arts from Viet Nam and China will be held in Ha Noi on December 11.
Opening the programme will be a photo exhibition showcasing the life and career of China’s renowned Peking opera master Mei Baojiu (1934-2016), which will be followed by an international conference to discuss the history of traditional theatrical in the two countries at the Viet Nam Cultural Art Exhibition Centre, 2 Hoa Lu Street.
The highlight of the programme will be performances of traditional plays by artists from the two nations at Au Co Theatre, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang Street.
The event will end on December 14 with the conclusion of the photo exhibition featuring Mei Baojiu. — VNS
