HẢI PHÒNG — Photos, documents and information about domestic violence in Việt Nam, as well as consequences and measures to fight the issue are featured in an exhibition that is taking place in Hải Phòng City.
The exhibition, which responds to the national campaign “National Action Month on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control”, also showcases moments of happy families and photos of women and children.
According to the organisation board, the event aims to raise awareness about domestic prevention and control, contributing to building a civilised and progressive society.
June has been selected as the national action month on domestic violence prevention and control since 2016 by the Prime Minister, as part of efforts to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society of the issue, contributing to the protection of women and children as well as building happy families.
The exhibition will open for the public until May 28. — VNS
