HÀ NỘI  — Diverse cultural activities will take place at the French international high school Alexandre Yersin (LFAY) in Hà Nội to help Vietnamese and international children learn more about the Mid-Autumn festival’s tradition.

Starting from this Friday until October 1, pupils from primary level will learn how to make colourful lanterns of different shapes, and how to make moon-cakes. They will also learn about Vietnamese traditional myths that explain the origin of the festival and also learn well-known traditional songs.

The event is part of a cultural project of the Vietnamese teachers to help pupils discover the country's rich culture.

Founded in 1982, LFAY is known as one of most prestigious schools in Hà Nội, and has nearly 1030 pupils aged from three to 18 years old. VNS
