HCM City — Nearly 300 golfers will compete in the HCM City Open Golf Tournament, Vietcombank Cup later this month at the Viet Nam Golf & Country Club in District 9, HCM City.
On April 26 and 27, they will compete in Pro, Albatross, Eagle, Birdie, Par, Diamond and Ruby categories.
And if anyone manages to hit a hole-in-one they will be all smiles because the prize is an apartment valued VND1.8 billion (US$78,260).
According to organisers, the event’s best 10 golfers will represent HCM City at the upcoming National Sports Games in Ha Noi.
This is the annual biggest event of the Sai Gon Golf Association (SGGA) and is one of the most prestigious events of Vietnamese golf. — VNS
