HA NOI — The duo Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang of Becamex Binh Duong reached the semi-finals in the men’s doubles at the Viet Nam Tennis Federation (VTF) Pro Tour 1 in Vung Tau City yesterday. The duo beat Duong Hong Vu and Hy Xui Vay of Vung Tau 6-0, 6-1 in the quarter-finals.
They will now face Lam Quang Tri and Tran Ngoc Quoc Vinh of Hai Dang Tay Ninh in the match today. While Quoc Khanh and Giang Thanh of Hung Thinh-HCM City will face Hoang Thanh Trung and Ngo Duc Duong of the Police.
On the women’s side, the duo Si Boi Ngoc and Tran Thuy Thanh Truc of HCM City will play Fodor Csilla and Thanh Binh of Da Nang, while Tifanny Linh Nguyen and Thu Uyen of Binh Duong will take on Hoang Thi Ha and Dang Thi Hanh of Hai Duong.
In the quarter-finals of the men’s singles today, Nam will meet Le Quang Tuan of Vung Tau, Huynh Minh Thinh of Binh Duong plays Dang Ngoc Vinh of Hung Thinh-HCM City, Nguyen Dac Tien of Ha Noi faces Trung of the Police, Giang of Binh Duong meets Thanh of Hung Thinh-HCM City.
