HA NOI — Defending champions Thai Son Nam have earned a place in the final of the National Futsal Cup.
The team beat Thai Son Bac 2-1 in the semi-final match in the northern province of Quang Ninh on Sunday.
Thai Son Nam controlled the game from the opening whistle, and their efforts were rewarded with a goal from Pham Duc Hoa in the 12th minute.
Thai Son Bac fought back strongly and Duc Tung scored an equaliser in the 39th minute.
With the final whistle approaching, Ngoc Linh scored from a free kick to secure the win for Thai Son Nam.
In the other semi-final match, Sanna Khanh Hoa defeated Hai Phuong Nam 4-1.
Thai Son Nam will take on Sanna Khanh Hoa in the final on November 27.
The event attracted the participation of eight teams, competing in a knock-out format. — VNS
