HA NOI — Viet Nam finished second at the CFA International Futsal Tournament which concluded in China on Sunday.
Viet Nam beat New Zealand 7-0 in the last match to become runners-up with six points after three matches. Russia took the trophy with nine points.
Earlier, Viet Nam defeated China 4-0 and lost to world silver medallists Russia 6-2.
The three-day event featured four teams, namely New Zealand, Russia, Viet Nam and China.
The team returned home on Monday to prepare for the upcoming National HDBank Futsal Championship’s final round. — VNS
