VINH LONG – The Vinh Long International Table Tennis Tournament opened on June 29 at the southern province of Vinh Long’s Gymnasium.
More than 200 players from 56 domestic clubs and other countries, such as China’s Shanghai, Indonesia and Thailand, have signed up for the event.
Participants will compete in seven categories in men’s and women’s events.
The event is a warm-up for the upcoming Asian Games to be held in Indonesia in August.
The tournament, which is being co-organised by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and provincial Vinh Long Table Tennis Federation, will conclude on July 1. – VNS
