Hot Springs Park to open on second day of Tết

DA NANG — Hot Springs Park will open to visitors for Tet  on the second day of the new lunar year on January 29.

Park Director Tran Trung Quang told Viet Nam News that the park will host a series of fun games and local traditional cuisine, and onsen spa service, mud baths, a water music stage, folk games, as well as trekking.

The park in the mountainous Hoa Phu commune in Hoa Vang district, 25km west of the central coastal city, covers 16.5ha and has been a favourite eco-tour destination since it opened last year near the Ba Na-Nui Chua Nature Reserve, with an average temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. 

It’s one of seven new tourism sites – including Asia Park, the newly upgraded Cham Sculpture Museum, the second stage of the Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort, the Fine Arts Museum, Hibicus Wine festival – that will be introduced in the city over this summer’s holidays.

The city hosted 5.5 million tourists last year, 1.67 million of them foreigners. — VNS
