HÀ NỘI — Flamingo Cát Bà Beach Resort became the first tourist site in Việt Nam to be covered by 5G following a deal struck between Viettel and Flamingo Groups on May 30.
Under the deal, Viettel Group will provide solutions and technology that help manage business and build smart projects for Flamingo Group.
The two sides had agreed to upgrade the service to meet the increasing demand of customers and build a smart society, said Lê Thị Vân Anh, vice general director of Flamingo Group.
Flamingo Cát Bà Beach Resort in the northern city of Hải Phòng will open next year.
5G will bring modern and convenient access for tourists at the resort, which received three awards at the Asia Pacific International Property Awards including Best Leisure Development, Best Commercial High-Development and Best Commercial High-Rise Architecture. The awards ceremony took place on May 14-15 in Thailand. — VNS
