Japanese style miso soup
Summer is coming and if you're tired of heavy or thick dishes, try miso soup! It’s the easiest soup to make at home and as a part of daily Japanese meals, home-made miso soup is not only delightful, it also brings many health benefits.
Ingredients (1-2 bowls):
- 1 tablespoon of dry seaweed
- 3 tablespoons of white miso (fermented soybean paste)
- 3 bowls of water
- 1 teaspoon of dashi powder (instant dashi)

Instructions
Mix dashi powder with water and bring to a boil.
Take ¾ cup of hot dashi into the miso, stirring with a fork until the miso is completely dissolved.
Taste and add more miso or a pinch of sea salt if desired. Serve warm.
