To elevate culinary offerings and promote the finest tastes of food cultures across Asia Pacific, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers is offering an international guest chef series titled Straight Outta Asia.
Straight Outta Bangkok is running until March 25 and is designed to celebrate the authentic taste of Thailand, starring Thai guest chef Burin Pongchang from Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bangkok.
The culinary event casts an extensive array of international guest chefs who have a huge passion for developing their food cultures across the globe from countries and territories such as Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan and Korea.
Inspired by these culinary offerings, Straight Outta Asia rolls out the carpet straight to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Tokyo while guests dine right in the centre of downtown Saigon.

Thai cuisine is featured as the first concept as it has become tremendously popular in Sài Gòn for its distinctive harmony of contrasting flavors.
Via Straight Outta Bangkok, food connoisseurs travel on a sizzling journey of authenticity highlighting dishes such as tom yum, pad Thai and som tum, a selection of authentic Thai curries, and must-try desserts such as mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea.
All signature dishes are curated by chef Burin Pongchang with over 30 years of experience. As the sous chef of Feast restaurant at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bangkok, chef Burin is a regular guest chef of international Thai promotions in China, Malaysia and beyond.
Stephen Wright, executive assistant manager of Sheraton Saigon, says: “We are extremely excited to introduce Straight Outta Asia and honored to welcome our very first international guest chef from Thailand. Chef Burin Pongchang, who demonstrates such a burning love and in-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine, is the perfect choice for this collaboration. This initiative not only brings our guests a unique culinary experience but also creates a playground for our local chefs to cross-train and exchange skills to develop themselves in their careers.”
Thai signature dishes from Straight Outta Bangkok are available the hotel’s Saigon Café until March 25 and are offered in the lavish seafood buffet dinner with buffet prices remaining the same.
