HA NOI — Singer Uyen Linh – winner of Vietnam Idol 2010 – will open a new music series that will be live streamed from tonight (November 30).
Entitled Music Home, the series will introduce famous singers, bands and songwriters on the monthly programme, which will be aired on the last Friday of every month. Alongside their hits, the programme will also reveal untold stories about their lives and careers.
A production of FPT Telecom – one of the Viet Nam’s biggest internet service providers, the series is being produced by a professional team of producers Anh Quan and Huy Tuan, and their band Anh Em (The Brothers).
According to Huy Tuan, who is also a famous songwriter, the series will be a place to cultivate and develop musical talents.
“The music series is also a great stage for young and emerging artists to perform and introduce their music to the audience,” he said.
The producer also stressed the role of live streaming as an inevitable trend.
“Most live shows take place in Ha Noi and HCM City, and not everyone can afford a ticket. I think Music Home can satisfy audiences, especially given the huge number of people who are online," he said.
Aiming to offer audiences the experience of being at a live concert for the first time in Viet Nam, Music Home has applied a cutting-edge, multi-cam function, which allows audience to watch concerts from their chosen camera angle.
Music Home will be broadcast live at 8.30pm tonight on FPT Television and live streamed on FPT Play – a TV online application. — VNS
