HÀ NỘI — Artists from World Youth Orchestra (WYO) will perform the most popular operas of Giacomo Puccini at Hà Nội Opera House on April 10.

In the night Gala Opera Puccini soprano Angela Nisi and tenor Vitaliv Kovalchuk will sing extracts from Madam Butterfly, Tosca, Suor Angelica, Turandot, Levilli, Gianni Schicchi and La Boheme under conductor Damiano Guiranna.

Nisi started her career as a lyric soprano in 2010, demonstrating equal dedication to operatic, symphonic and chamber repertoire. She earned a Master's degree in solo repertoire with orchestra at the Conservatory of Monopoli.

Her awards include the F. Provenzale Baroque Singing Competition (Naples, 2006) and the Ottavio Ziino Competition (Rome, 2012).
