HA NOI — The Viet Nam National Opera and Ballet will present the Nutcracker – Wonder Dream, on December 5 and 6 at the Ha Noi Opera House.
The ballet is inspired by work of choreographer Philippe Cohen with music by Tchaikovsky. It has been created by choreographer Tran Ly Ly and conductor Dong Quang Vinh.
Based on the story of young Clara in her wonderland, the modern remake of the Nutcracker combines classic ballet and traditional dance. It’s the story of Quynh Lan and her kaleidoscope of Vietnamese culture and dance. In her dream land, nothing exists beside pure beauty and connection. — VNS
