HCM CITY – Vietnamese musicians are offering live performances along beautiful beaches across the country in hopes that music can help to heal the audience's mind and soul.
Biển của Hy Vọng is a Vietnamese remake of a South Korean healing programme called Sea of Hope, where musicians and celebrities present their own music and homemade dishes at a live bar next to a beautiful beach.
The show features music producer Tiên Tiên, singers Issac, Hoà Minzy, Đức Phúc and Quân A.P, and Chế Nguyễn Quỳnh Châu, the first runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022.
During the show, the cast opens a bar in Cô Tô Island in Quảng Ninh Province to offer food, and perform songs which make audiences feel good and happy.
They also share their feelings and stories about their lives and careers.
Tiên Tiên, music director of the show, told local media that “through the show, I want music to become a soulmate to audiences and accompany them when they need to take care of their mind and soul.”
The show’s first episode tiled Đón Bình Minh (Welcome to the Sunrise) presented favourite songs with positive energy such as Đón Bình Minh, Thiên Đường Tìm Đâu (Where the Paradise is) and Lời Yêu Thương, a Vietnamese version of the English song Jamaica Farewell.
It was aired on the HCM City Television (HTV) channel HTV7 on December 15 and has attracted more than 25,700 views on YouTube.
Đào Hồng Hạnh of Đồng Nai Province said that she “feels release when watching the show. It offers beautiful music with a background of a beautiful beach that helps me to get rid of stress in my daily life.”
The show Biển của Hy Vọng is broadcast at 8.30pm every Thursday on HTV7 and at 9.30pm on its YouTube channel. — VNS
