HCM CITY – An art exhibition on important and emotional moments during HCM City’s fight against COVID-19 is being displayed at HCM City Book Street in District 1 until August 21.
One hundred photos depict the pandemic prevention and control efforts of medical practitioners, businesses and locals in the city, through a wide variety of creative camera angles.
Fifty of the photos are from a past nationwide competition for photos depicting emotional moments in the city’s COVID-19 fight, held by Việt Nam Business Forum Magazine.
The competition received over 2,600 submissions from October, 2021 to March this year.
Đoàn Hoài Trung, Chairman of HCM City Photography Association, said that the photos in this exhibition have “recorded unforgettable, historical moments”, and that they are “valuable records to help future generations understand this important part of our history.”
“They also serve as a reminder to everyone to not be complacent, as the pandemic is still ongoing,” Trung said.

The exhibition is organised by the HCM City Photography Association, Việt Nam Business Forum Magazine, and HCM City Book Street Co., Ltd.
