According to National Assembly Chairman Vương Đình Huệ, the workshop agreed on nine major and important policy groups that need to be researched and institutionalised to remove bottlenecks and create breakthroughs for cultural development.
The first is a comprehensive human development policy. The second is the policy of building a healthy cultural environment with a focus on cultural life as well as developing and managing infrastructure systems, institutions and cultural spaces synchronously and effectively.
The third is to improve the effectiveness of information dissemination and cultural education. The fourth is preserving and promoting of national cultural heritage values.
Fifth is to promote the development of literature and art. It is necessary to add a separate policy for the creative activities of the specialised art branches that are lacking such as composing, promoting literary works, performing arts, fine arts, photography and exhibitions.
Sixth is the development of artistic and cultural products with artistic and ideological values, striving for worthy literary and artistic works towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party in 2030 and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country in 2045.
Seventh is the policy of cultural industry development. Eighth is a group of policies on promoting digital transformation and applying scientific and technological achievements in the field of culture.
The final policy is developing cultural human resources.
