This is the second year that the FAS has partnered with MM Mega Market to organise the event. It is part of the "United Tastes - Mỹ Vị Hoa Kỳ" series, the annual celebration exclusively designed for the Vietnamese market to inspire Vietnamese customers to experience US culinary culture and high quality US food and beverages.
“We firmly believe that the potential is huge and cooperation will be further facilitated via stronger synergy in the future. This amazing United Tastes plays a significant role in promoting bilateral trade and providing safe and quality food and beverage products directly imported from the United States for local citizens,” said Bruno Jousselin, managing director of MM Mega Market Vietnam.
The US is one of Việt Nam’s largest trade and investment partners. The bilateral trade between the two countries reached US$123.9 billion last year, a year-on-year increase of 11 per cent.
The US remained the second largest importer of Vietnamese products, while Việt Nam was the ninth largest export market for US agricultural products, reaching $3.9 billion in 2022, according to the USDA. — VNS
