HA NOI — An exhibition on Japanese culture entitled Ichigo Ichie 2016 (The Journey of the Sun) will be held at the Ha Noi–Amsterdam Highschool, 1 Hoang Minh Giam Street, Cau Giay District, on July 23.
Activities at the exhibition include a display of Japanese cultural objects like dolls, masks, costumes, toys, footwear, carp streamers and origami.
Other activites include board games, shogi chess, uno games, yukata (summer kimono) costume wearing and lots of cultural exchange games.
The exhibition also has art perfomances like a furisode (the most formal style of kimono worn by young unmarried women in Japan) performance, yosakoi dancing and Japanese singing.
The exhibition is to be held from 7am to noon. Entrance is free for the public. — VNS
