HÀ NỘI - Việt Nam National Television (VTV) will be showing the game show Sinh Viên Thế Hệ Mới (New Generation Students) season 2 from September 1.
The reality TV show is an opportunity for university students across Việt Nam to showcase their creative thinking and gain support and mentoring from celebrities for social projects.
"The students have chance to show off their soft skills at the show," said VTV Deputy General Director Đỗ Thanh Hải at the launch conference.
"Joining the show, the students meet new friends and have challenges in new situations that will stimulate them carrying out community projects. That is characteristic of a new generation student."
In this playground, students form groups of six and can ask for help and use resources from their schools in order to design and implement projects.
The season two will see eight strong teams selected from 50 universities across the country.
Celebrities, including rapper Double 2T, MC Khánh Vy, tikoker Beo - teacher Trần Tuấn Đạt and businesswoman and fasionista Helly Tống will be mentoring the teams, helping them popularise the projects to the community.
"Through my music, I will support the teams during the competition," said rapper Double 2T, winner of the TV show Rap Việt 2023, who revealed he will have a new music product for the show.
Judges are professor Trần Xuân Bách, President of Việt Nam Youth Federation Central Committees, reporter Tạ Bích Loan - head of VTV's Sport and Entertainment Chanel and Forbes' 30 Under 30 ASIA 2024 Trần Tuấn Minh - Founder and President UpYouth.
The show is co-hosted by VTV's Channel 3 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Committee of the Việt Nam Students' Association, with sponsorship from Herbalife Việt Nam.
