HÀ NỘI — Động Lực Group announced it will sponsor Vietnamese football for VNĐ90 billion (US$3.6 million) over four years.
The agreement was signed between the Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF), the Việt Nam Professional Football Company (VPF) and Động Lực Group on October 24 in Hà Nội.
The sponsorship package, which runs from 2022 to 2025, includes FIFA-standard balls for training and competing for all football and futsal championships, uniforms for players and referees and cash.
According to Lê Hoài Anh, VFF general secretary, there are about 1,800 national competitions every year, and Động Lực's sponsorship will strongly support organising these matches.
PR Director Mai Thế Hưng of Động Lực said the group has had a relationship with VFF and VPF for more than 25 years and sought to improve the quality of local leagues and lure the attention of supporters to the domestic championships.
Động Lực also provides balls to many football clubs such as Hà Nội FC, Hải Phòng FC and HCM City FC.
Apart from football, Động Lực Group is a familiar sponsor of Việt Nam sports teams in international competitions such as the Olympics, Asian Games and SEA Games. — VNS
