HÀ NỘI — Hotel de la Coupole – Mgallery in Sapa in the northern province of Lào Cai has won the Luxury Architect Design Hotel at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2019 (WLHA).

It also claimed Asia’s Leading New Hotel 2019, and Asia’s Leading Design Hotel 2019 at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia & Oceania.

Located in the heavenly mountains of Sapa, it is a masterpiece of design by Bill Bensley. The glamorous Hotel de la Coupole resembles a luxurious European palace from the early 20th century.

Offering a world-class experience through its evocative architecture, superlative cuisine and outstanding services, the hotel has made a major contribution to promoting tourism in Sapa in less than a year of operations.

Also designed by Bill Bensley, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay in Phú Quốc was honored at the WTA Asia & Oceania 2019 as Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort and Spa and Vietnam’s Leading Resort.

By winning these two awards, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay will continue to make a major contribution to elevating tourism in Phú Quốc to a whole new level.

The design narrative, which was developed around the concept of a mythical academy of learning, has already become a premier destination for elite travelers, who are also treated to immaculate services and breathtaking scenery on the southern coast of Phú Quốc Island.

As the latest project to be developed by Sun Group on the island, Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort is also set in an unbelievable location, nestled on a lush peninsula with beaches and sea views on all sides.

The resort was named Asia's Leading Villa Resort 2019 and Vietnam’s Leading Villa Resort 2019 by WTA Asia & Oceania.

Offering a taste of France on the top of Bà Nà Hill, Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills was recognised as Asia's Luxury Honeymoon Hotel by WLHA 2019.

“Winning these awards is an honor for Sun Group and recognises the tireless efforts of our organisation, which has always sought to transform the tourism industry in Việt Nam by delivering uniquely designed, luxurious and high-quality tourism products,” said Đặng Minh Trường, chairman of Sun Group.

“I believe that this recognition from WTA Asia & Oceania and WLHA will help fly the flag for Việt Nam throughout the region and on the world map.” — VNS
