NHA TRANG — Việt Nam’s longest zipline has been inaugurated at Vinpearl Nha Trang in the resort city of Nha Trang in the central province of Khánh Hòa.
The new zipline, with a length of 880 metres, has been recognised by Việt Nam Records as the longest in the country. It is also longer than Asia’s longest zipline – the one in Dahilayan in the Philippines, which is 840 metres long.
In addition, the Vinpearl Nha Trang zipline also has been recognised as having the highest slope nationwide, with adventurous guests being able to travel on the zip wire at a speed of 100km per hour.
At the end of the line, visitors will also be able to challenge themselves by undertaking the quickjump at a height of 5.8 metres. This height represents a national record for the highest ground jump from a zip wire.
The line has satisfied all the international requirements on safety as Vinpearl Nha Trang had invited the industry’s top builder, Fantasticable AeroFun, to build and install the system.

The new zipline route is expected to offer visitors more options while spending time at the amusement park, which is located on the city’s Tre Island.
Alongside the record zipline, Vinpearl Nha Trang also features the world's largest Floating Bay at 4,200sq.m, the Vinpearl Sky Wheel – the world’s top 10 highest wheels, and Vạn Hoa Hill – the only botanical garden in Việt Nam featuring flora from five continents in the world. — VNS
