HCM CITY (VNS) — The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Viet Nam has introduced a mobile application titled "My EU" to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the EU and Viet Nam.

The application aims to provide useful information about the EU and its cultural activities in Viet Nam to Vietnamese users. All information is in Vietnamese.

Dr Franz Jessen, ambassador and head of the delegation, said "We are making great efforts to turn the EU into a friendly concept that is not only reachable but also in the hand of many Vietnamese people."

"My EU", which runs on both iOS and Android devices, includes four main sections.

"Explore Europe" contains geography, climate and nature, languages, inventions and the starting point of the EU, while "Knowledge of the EU" gives information on EU's integration and development history, operating mechanism, the single market and its currency.

For people who love travelling, "Travel to the EU" presents insights about visa applications to the EU.

And "Calendar of Cultural Events" updates cultural and entertaining activities organised by the delegation and European cultural centres in Viet Nam.
