HA NOI (VNS)— Vietnamese body-builders had an excellent tournament winning 10 gold medals in total to come out on top at the Asian Body-Building Championship that wrapped up yesterday at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in HCM City.
The country's last and tenth gold medal, which was won by Le Ba Trang on the last day of the competition, pushed Viet Nam into the top place with 10 gold and 11 silver and bronze medals.
Of nine other gold medals, seven by male athletes, the winners were Pham Van Mach (55kg), Nguyen Van Lam (65kg), Nguyen Anh Thong (60kg), Nguyen Van My (junior 60kg), Pham Duc Dai (70kg), Trinh Phi Hung (age bracket 55-60), Nguyen Kim Hung and Truong Quoc Long (male fitness), and Tran Thi Cam Tu (female fitness).
The next tournament will be held in Macau, China.-VNS
