HA NOI (VNS) — The fifth International Women's Cycling Tournament, Biwase Cup 2015, will kick off in the southern province of Binh Duong on Saturday.
The event, which is part of the International Cycling Federation's competition system, is expected to see tough competition from 10 local teams and three foreign teams from Thailand, Kazakhstan and Malaysia.
They will compete over nine stages in both singles and team events, and adhere to international cycling rules.
The annual tournament, which will end on March 8, aims to provide local cyclists a good opportunity to hone their professional skills and gain experience from foreign competitors in preparation for international competitions. — VNS
