DA NANG (VNS)—More than 400 athletes from 23 countries will compete in the Da Nang International Marathon on September 1.

For the first time the race will be held in the central city and will see world athletes run a 42.195km marathon, a 21.0975km half marathon and a 5km fun run in the one-day competition at the East Sea Park.

Marathoners will run two laps through the streets of Pham Van Dong and Truong Sa, across Tran Thi Ly Bridge, along Bach Dang Street and across Thuan Phuoc Bridge, finishing at the park. Half marathoners will run one lap of the route.

The 5km Fun Run will start at 7pm.-VNS
