Many food stalls at HCM City's Tan Son Nhat Airport have been lowering prices since June 26, after the Civil Aviation Administration of Viet Nam issued an ultimatum on overcharging at the airport. Some prices have fallen sharply.
The new menu at Sasco's restaurant, for example, shows that prices for bread with pork pies are now VND33,000 from the original VND49,000. A bowl of noodles fell from VND49,000 to VND45,000.
Before the listing of the new prices, many passengers who travelled on domestic routes at Tan Son Nhat Airport had complained about the catering attitude and expensive prices in the lounge area after check-in.-VNS
