HA NOI (VNS)— German institutions, companies and cultural organisations in Viet Nam will gather to celebrate all things German at the Viet Nam National Museum of History on Saturday.
Titled DeutschlandFest 2013, the family day out will include live performances, a quiz with surprise prizes, German sausages and beverages.
Famous German car maker Mercedes Benz will showcase its newest car model and treat visitors with the chance to seat behind the steering wheel.
Five photo booths representing Germany's five regions will be set up at the event. The popular German pop band Aufbau West, who have performed several times before in Viet Nam, will also entertain the audience with their performance.
The free-entry event will start at 10am and finish up at 8pm at the Viet Nam National Museum of History, 25 Tong Dan Street. — VNS
