HA TINH (VNS)— Specialists have collected many pottery and bronze artefacts dating from the 13th century during a survey in Huong Son District in the central province of Ha Tinh, said Le Ba Hanh, vice director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Museum.
The antiques include pottery bowls, dishes and one pot dating from the Tran dynasty (1225-1400) and the Le dynasty (1428-1788), plus bronze trays from the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945).
The pottery bowls and dishes were enamelled and decorated with sophisticated flower patterns, while the pot had colourful carp-shaped patterns.
During surveys in April and May, museum specialists collected more than 100 documents in ancient scripts and antiques from private collections.
They are being stored at the museum for better preservation and future study. — VNS
