A special evening concert celebrating the masterpieces of Russian musical genius Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840–1893) is set to take place on April 19 at the Grand Concert Hall of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Jointly organised by the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with the ROX Group, this event promises an unforgettable experience for classical music enthusiasts.

During Tchaikovsky Night, audiences will be transported into a world of emotionally charged artistry through iconic compositions, including the Nutcracker Overture, Op. 71, the vibrant opening piece of the beloved ballet; the Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35, Tchaikovsky’s sole violin concerto, crafted in 1878; and Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, Op. 64, a profound exploration of the composer’s contrasting and intricate emotions.
