HA NOI (VNS) — Teenagers can help protect the wildlife through their artistic creations, as a contest has been launched in Ha Noi marking the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22.
Titled "Teenagers with Wildlife Protection", the contest aims to encourage youngsters to engage in wildlife conservation activities and raise awareness on the values of wildlife and the importance of biodiversity protection.
All youth union members, students, and teenagers across the nation can participate in the competition through creative approaches using entertainment forms, such as songs, musical performances, dances, and dramas.
Contestants are also encouraged to share their viewpoints on wildlife preservation, call on the public to boycott products derived from wild animals, as well as write slogans and messages, and actions on wildlife protection.
Entries, recorded on CD or VCD, should be sent to the organising board, the Viet Nam Volunteer Information Resource Centre (VVIRC) by May 10. Winners will be announced on May 22 in Ha Noi. — VNS
