Art exhibit aims to tighten bilateral ties


Artworks featuring the beauty and cultural identities of Viet Nam and South Korea will be on display at the Korean Cultural Centre tomorrow.

HA NOI – Artworks featuring the beauty and cultural identities of Viet Nam and South Korea will be on display at the Korean Cultural Centre tomorrow.

Vietnamese artists Ngo Quang Nam, Doan Hong, Nguyen Van Cuong, Tran Yen The, Vu Bach Lien, Cong Quoc Thang, Ha Anh Tuan and Chu Viet Cuong will share their works in different mediums, including oil on canvas, lacquers, ceramics and graphics.

Art lecturers and ceramic artists from Korea, including Min Gi Hi, Lee Myung-Ah, Jang Jin, Han Hyung Lim, Ro Hae Sin and Kim Jong In, will showcase ceramic pieces in diverse and modern styles.

Hosted by the Korean Cultural centre, the event is being held to celebrate 20 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Keum Gi Hyung, the centre's director said he hoped the exhibition would help tighten bilateral ties which had gained progress in recent years. – VNS
