HCM CITY —
An art exhibition that reflects aspirations of women all over the world to create a global culture of humanitarian values that protects and sustains the environment opens in HCM City tomorrow.
Her Presence in Colours X, International Women Artists Exhibition-Viet Nam 2012 will be held until June 27 at the HCM City Fine Arts Museum.
The international event will present artworks created by 212 women artists from 23 different countries.
The exhibition-cum-conference seeks to provide a platform for women artists of various nationalities with different cultural backgrounds to exhibit and insights into art, life and aesthetics.
It advances the notion that the women's art, reflecting the innermost sensibilities and thoughts of the artists, contributes to the enhancement of global peace and harmony and the betterment of society at large.
The event will include an art seminar at the HCM City Fine Arts University and a cultural visit to Binh Duong Province where the artists will draw and paint on ceramic works.
This exhibition is a collaboration between concerned agencies including the International Women Artists Council (INWAC), INWAA – Viet Nam, Women Artists Club and the HCM City Fine Arts Association. — VNS
