HA NOI  (VNS) — Yin – a solo exhibition by artist Nguyen Khanh Toan will open to the public tomorrow at Cuci Fine Art, 22A Hai Ba Trung Street.

Filled with disbelief in the spirit world, Toan expresses the world after death through his artworks - a world in which his obsession, oppression and vulnerability are filled with sentimental ghosts.

The gallery walls will be covered with collages of figures from the paintings to create a separate space. Many of the human images are distorted, curt and broken, with clinging primordial bodies, animals, nature and temples, combined with the imaginations of human characters and hellish objects.

The exhibition will run until December 14. — VNS
