The ‘Asian Journalists' Culture Forum' will take place in Gwangju City
in the Republic of Korea on September 5, 2013, with an aim to promoting
journalists' contribution to cultural exchanges and communication among
the Asian countries.

HA NOI (VNS) – The ‘Asian Journalists' Culture Forum' will take place in Gwangju City in the Republic of Korea on September 5, 2013, with an aim to promoting journalists' contribution to cultural exchanges and communication among the Asian countries.
Journalists are expected to discuss how to preserve and promote Asian culture as well as encourage communication and exchange between Asian cultures.
The forum will consist of two sessions: "The Media's Role in Promoting Exchange and Prosperity in Asian Cultures" and "The conditions of Cultural Complexes in Asian Countries and the Role of Asian Culture Complex." Not only sharing each country's status, journalists will discuss the role of Gwangju Asian Culture Complex (ACC), a main facility in the Hub City of Asian Culture.
The forum will be hosted by the Office for the Hub City of Asian Culture, Korea Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by Jeeonnam Ilbo from the Asia Journalist Association.
Attending the event will be journalists throughout Asia, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Turkey and Viet Nam. – VNS
