Chairman of the Audio Visual Global Company (AVG) Pham Nhat Vu has promised to donate all benefits from sport broadcasting rights to national sports.

Speaking at a press briefing in Ha Noi yesterday, Vu said his company, operated by An Vien Group, had been stuck on sport for years and promoted a plan for donation.

According to Vu, 20 per cent of all profits will go to developing elite sport, another 20 per cent to amateur sport and 30 per cent to support the national sport federations while the rest will be placed into the Fund to Support Vietnamese Athletes.

The chairman added that AVG was ready to co-operate with any partner who had plans, goals and activities for stronger Vietnamese football in particular and sports in general.-VNS
