HANOI (VNS)  — Nguyen Tien Minh of Viet Nam was knocked out of the Thaihot China Open badminton tournament yesterday in Fuzhou City.

The Vietnamese player lost to host rival Chen Long, who is the No 1 seed, 21-17, 21-8.

Minh, who won the National Games' team title last week, will return home to defend his singles crown at the Games later this week. — VNS
