Belgian jazz pianist to tickle the ivories


Belgian jazz pianist Eric Legnini and other members of his band – French contrabass player Thomas Bramerie and drummer Agullhon and British vocalist Hugh Coltman – will perform at a free concert at the HCM City Conservatory of Music on May 9.

Belgian jazz pianist Eric Legnini and other members of his band – French contrabass player Thomas Bramerie and drummer Agullhon and British vocalist Hugh Coltman – will perform at a free concert at the HCM City Conservatory of Music on May 9.

The pianist, who won the "Glorious Music" award in 2011, will also hold a master class for students at the conservatory on May 10.

After the event the Eric Legnini Quartet will travel to Ha Noi for another free concert at the Opera House on May 11.

Tickets are available at the Department of Regional Chamber of Wallonie in HCM City, 6 Le Thanh Ton Street, and Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Viet Nam, 360 Kim Ma Street in Ha Noi.

The conservatory is at 92 Nguyen Du Street in District 1. The concert will begin at 8pm. — VNS
