HA NOI (VNS)— The first-ever show to combine belly dancing with a circus performance will be presented to the public tonight at the Viet Nam Circus and Variety Arts College, Ha Noi.

The show, Salomon Night, is an experimental art performance organised by the college student and belly dancer Nguyen Van Anh, director of the Cleopatra Club.

The troupe of 50 artists will perform several belly dance-circus pieces, including one piece that won an award at the Indochina Circus Talent Competition in May and another inspired by the gong music of the Central Highlands that the group performed at the Hue Festival earlier this year. — VNS
