An Giang and HCM City came in second and third respectively.On Thursday's final day of racing, cyclists competed in the men's 140km and women's 80km race.
In the men's 140km race from the provinces of Binh Duong to Binh Phuoc and back, Bui Minh Thuy of Vinh Long overcame Huynh Thanh Tung of the People's Army team to finish first in a time of 3:27.32. Le Van Duan of HCM City crossed the finish line third in a time of 3:27.38.Ha Noi topped the team's rankings in this event, followed by Military team and HCM City.
The women's 80km race along Binh Duong Province included competitors from the hosts along with An Giang and Dong Thap. Phan Thi Lieu of An Giang sprinted successfully to finish first in a time of 2:12.09. Vo Thi Phuong Phi and Nguyen Phan Ngoc Trang, both from Binh Duong, were in second and third respectively.Thanks to the efforts of Phi and Trang, Binh Duong led the team rankings in that event, followed by Dong Thap and An Giang.-VNS
