HA NOI (VNS)—As many as 260 professional and amateur golfers will compete in the FLC Golf Invitational Tournament 2013-Golf4Good at the Van Tri Golf Course in Ha Noi on Sunday.

They are divided into six groups, five for men and one for women, competing in 18 holes. At the 16th hole, the organisers apply the Hole-in-One prize which gives a bonus of VND686 millions (US$35,000) to the winner. And the golfer who takes the Best Gross will enjoy VND100 million.

After the success of the Golf Challenge 2012, this second annual golf tournament, with total prize value up to VND6.5 billion ($308,000), was expected to be a useful playing-field for the entrepreneurial community nationwide, said Le Dinh Vinh, one of the tournament's organisers at the press conference yesterday.

Through the tournament, FLC Group, sponsors and entrepreneurs will also donate to the Com Co Thit (Rice with Meat) charity fund for poor children. — VNS
