HA NOI (VNS) — The annual Canadian Food Festival will introduce a wide range of seafood including lobster, oysters, snow crab, black cod, Atlantic salmon and mussels, in addition to Canadian wines and spirits, maple syrup, Ambrosia apples and dried fruits.
The annual event is organised by the Embassy of Canada to promote the best Canadian food products to Vietnamese consumers.
Consumers will get discounts on Canadian food at Don's Tay Ho, Hai Cang, Sen buffet chain, Sy Phu hotpot chain, Sheraton Ha Noi Hotel and Klever Fruits stores until January 15.
"Canada's vast and varied land, bounded by oceans on three sides and dotted with freshwater lakes, nurtures a diverse range of high-quality food ingredients," said Canadian ambassador David Devine.
"I hope that the festival will help Vietnamese consumers understand the extremely high quality of our food ingredients and they will include our products in Viet Nam's fine dining culture." — VNS
