More than 250 players from eight countries and territories will compete
in the Kawasaki-Biere Larue Viet Nam International Series at the central
city's Tuyen Son Sport Centre.
More than 250 players from eight countries and territories will compete in the Kawasaki-Biere Larue Viet Nam International Series at the central city's Tuyen Son Sport Centre.
The series, to be held from October 1 to 5, is part of the Badminton World Federation's (BWF) competition system.
This was announced by Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the city's badminton federation Le Nguyen Tuong Lan yesterday.
The tournament, which Da Nang will host for the first time, will see players competing in five men's and women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles events. The total cash prize amounts to US$5,000.
The players will also accumulate points for improving their positions in the World Rankings table. — VNS
