After Binh Thuan and Khanh Hoa, the coastal city of Da Nang has become a popular haunt for Russian tourists, with some 36,000 scheduled to arrive in the city on charter flights between March and September.

Hoang Thi Phong Thu, chairwoman of Anh Duong Co, said her company would serve visitors coming from eight Russian cities to Da Nang through a contract signed with the Russia-based Pegas Touristik Co.

They would arrive on 10 to 12-day trips to central Viet Nam and stay at resorts in Da Nang and Hoi An, she said.

Anh Duong has also signed a contract with the Moscow-based Turkish Pegas Touristik to bring Russian tourists to Cam Ranh Airport on charter flights for trips to Nha Trang and Phan Thiet. — VNS
