HA NOI (VNS)  — A charity drive for orphans, disabled children and agent orange victims was launched yesterday in Ha Noi.

The drive, Mua Xuan Vi The Gioi Tre Tho (Bringing Spring to Children), is run by the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha and the Viet Nam Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans.

Together the two organisations are encouraging businesses to donate their products from February 4 to March 28.

Around Lunar New Year celebrations, charity activities will be ongoing such as gifts presenting to children at the Thien Phuc Charity Centre, National Paediatrician Hospital and the Viet Nam Blind People Association.

A photo exhibition will be held at Soft Water Resort to raise funds to support charity programmes. Cash contributions can also be sent to the bank account 10201 0000 309 921 at VietinBank's Ha Noi branch.

Other forms of aid can be donated on the 10th Floor of Building D, Hacinco Sport Hotel, Le Van Thiem Street, Ha Noi, or at the Four Seasons of Love Fund at Trung Van New Urban Area, To Huu Road, Ha Noi. — VNS
