Chess player stumbles in Slovenia

She tied with Marina Baraeva of Russia and was defeated by Altanulzii Enkhtuul of Mongolia, respectively. She now has a total of 3.5 points and will meet Valentina Jorquera Cabello of Chile today.

In the boys' U16 event, Le Tuan Minh and Tran Tuan Minh both won in the fifth round, but lost and drew in the sixth, respectively. The results mean that both now have 3.5 points.

They will play against China's Liu Yi and Brazil's Arthur Chiari Gontijo in the next round.

Tran Minh Thang and Nguyen Dang Hong Phuc each took just one more point with one win and one loss after two rounds in the boys' U12 event.

Today they will face Craig Hilby of the US and A Abhishek of India, respectively, as the tournament enters the seventh round.
