HCM CITY (VNS) — A new exhibition of 60 posters featuring the theme Viet Nam's Sea and Island Sovereignty by painters nationwide is on display at the HCM City's 23-9 Park in District 1.
The event is part of the city's cultural activities that promote national pride and patriotism.
It also showcases 11 old maps and a collection of administrative records under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) that show the country's sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spartly) archipelagos.
Organised by the city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and its partners, the exhibit will run through July 20. — VNS
