HA NOI (VNS) — Selected photos that compete in The Talent Prize 2014 Climate Change in Photography are being displayed respectively in Ha Noi and HCM City until November 19 and 20.

The Danish Embassy's Talent Prize competition has attracted photographers from all over Viet Nam who has captured and reflected various impacts of climate change on daily activities of ordinary Vietnamese people from the north to the south.

"In a fast developing global world, we are constantly faced with the consequences of climate change and environmental issues. This contest explores how these issues and consequences are perceived and expressed in photography," says Danish Ambassador to Viet Nam, John Nielsen.

"I hope this competition will contribute to underpin the fact, that the climate agenda is more and more important and that each and everyone of us can make a difference," said Nielsen, who has been Earth Hour Ambassador for the last three years.

The exhibition is held in Ha Noi at the Nha San Collective, 24 Ly Quoc Su Street, and in HCM City at the Fine Art Museum, 97 Pho Duc Chinh Street, District 1.

By the end of the exhibition in HCM City on November 21, a photography workshop is going to be held at the exhibition venue, followed by the closing ceremony and winner announcement of Talent Prize 2014. — VNS
